Interview!

My seasonal job is coming to an end. Quite a few customers that I have talked to and had actual intelligent conversations with have asked me this:

"Why are you wasting your time with a job like this?" paraphrasing but quite a few people have said this. Its like, a sign. I need a 'real' job.

I sent a few resumes out. I am a bit selective of what I want to do. I have specific skills and I can't imagine doing certain things (physical labor, getting my hands wet [I have issues with my hands] overnight hours, etc.) unless I am desperate.

One 'thanks but no thanks' letter came in

But I am excited to say I have a job interview tomorrow. It doesn't pay well but it is something I 'think' I can do. Fingers crossed everyone. I want to be able to AFFORD to feed my guys raw!

Good luck and best wishes for finding something decent!

Didn't you mention an interview at a vet place?
Unless you'll strictly be the receptionist, your hands will get wet...and not just wet, but "icky" wet! LOL

People think I'm weird about my "wet" issues. I'm fine with blood, urine, vomit (if it's colored or chunky), diarrhea.... however, I cannot STAND even the sight (let alone touching) clear things such as sweat, tears, saliva and bile (unless it's tinted with color). Even just seeing a person crying wants to make me gag when I focus on the tears. Sweat dripping down somebody's forehead ...drool on a chin... ICK!!! NASTY!

That is seriously weird. You can handle runny crap, and chunky puke but not tears?

I gagged a little when I read chunky....

I am fine with blood and guts usually. Its snot I can NOT deal with. Or...eye surgery. But I can skin and gut a deer no problem. We all have our thing I guess.

And its reception so I will be ok in the hands department. Not my dream job but if its a paying job, I am certainly interested.
