Water for people

We know cats need lots of water, but what about humans? What's a healthy, safe daily intake? I've heard different answers, from 8 huge glasses a day,to 1 a day. I've heard that sometimes when we think we're HUNGRY,we're actually THIRSTY. What KIND of water also makes a difference.

Health and fitness professionals seem to recommend 8-10 glasses a day. It helps to curb appetite and flush the system.

I rarely manage that many, even on my good days! I find running to the bathroom every fifteen minutes during my workday to be terribly annoying.

8-10 glasses a day. I rarely get that much, but I try because of my kidneys. got a huge kidney infection not too long ago. I drink probably three bottles of water so that's 20oz... they ask 8oz glasses of water so wait, maybe I do get enough. Hmmm food for thought... or water for thought
