I have to say, I don't know one fellow rescue volunteer that has ever had anything good to say about PETA. And most of the animal lovers that do say all this good stuff about PETA usually don't know this kind of crap that they pull!! I'm all for not wearing furs and totally against poaching, etc. But that's something the WWF also works against. PETA is more trouble than help!!

They are hypocritical and way too extreme... the fact that they do SOME good things doesn't excuse all the awful things they do...

Breifly it was a video that showed statistics that the no kill shelter took in and adopted out more pets that PETAs shelter that promotes ethenization.

PETA does crazy stuff but they're useful. They give us free literature and posters. We don't have the budget for spay/neuter promotion leaflets and they provide them for free. We've also gotten anti-violence posters from them and have them at the shelter, police station, and local vets.
