Hmm... were you trying to induce a panic attack? Spiders are NOT cute. And I have a deep irrational fear of them. Thanks! Very funny!

The elephant is cute though....

Haha! I'm not afraid of them but this morning when I shut my apartment door I came face to face with what I swear was a F3 TARANTULA! LOL. I let out a pretty loud scream and that POOR spider went scrambling.

Poor little thing, I didn't mean to scare it. It was probably expecting to be squashed. It just startled the bejeesus out of me. If they are in the apartment I try to capture and set them outside before Book finds them. He thinks of them as a high protein snack food.

Scroll past the spider article and the slideshow starts at the bottom.

Only one spider pic and it's not a close-up. Though spiders are misunderstood

LOL Krissy . Kisa does the same, stalks and eats them. Little spiders I don't mind, big ones...not so much ha ha.

At the end of the article at the bottom of the page there was a gallery of 2011's cutest animal pics - I think that's what Dave was meaning to show lol. A couple I don't think we're cute....but the rest were

That is cute... I only dislike spindly legged spiders that look evil.

The fear stems from my childhood... my dad was diagnosed with a very rare cancer that came from a spider bite. Really, I swear. They said it was an insect vector/virus that gave him the cancer. The tumor grew right where the bite was. He eventually died of the cancer and I am afraid of them to this day!

Those pics were very cute. I closed out the page so quickly I didn't even see the slideshow!
