Do you have an Oil drum?

In our neighborhood we are regarded as "a little bit weird". I donīt know why.
Last summer some new neighbors moved into a house in "our" street. They own OIL DRUMS - they cutted stars or crowns into the steel.

I wanted such thing! Now I own an oil drum! Wanna take a look?

Nice?

That's pretty cool! Love the cat cutout...

Open burning like that would be not allowed in my neighborhood (I live in a condominium community).

As strange as it sounds (I never thought I'd answer this question), yes, we have an oil drum. Maybe more than one, actually. It's at the cabin used for burning random stuff outdoors and must be about a million years old and rusted out... not sure why we keep it, we could just as easily make a bonfire, though I suppose the oil drum is for more controlled burning.

Yours is way cooler.

I've had a few oil drums over the years, but never like yours. I think yours is amazing.

Here allowed to make bonfire with dry wood, not over 3,3 ft high.
In Germany they "normally" use fire bowls or stoves.

This was our fire last year - before the oil drum.

Now I have to decorate 2 oil drums with cutouts ... I love my neighbors.
