Making fundraising cards for a shelter

We have decided to give hand to an animal shelter in fund-raising. The idea is to use printed postcards with the animal pictures on the back side and the shelter's contact info on the other. I have tried order those prints online , but some of the images are rejected...they were emailed to me, and I am not sure what I can do to change the quality - can I adjust the quality of pixels, or do I need to originals? Anyone with better knowledge of photoshop would be a great help, the animals and our campaigners will appreciate it too

What size photos are you trying to use? To print well they should be about 300 ppi. So for a 4 x 6 inch card, the photo should be 1200 x 1800 pixels. You may need to ask whoever is sending them to you for larger file size.

Hi Nan,

You were correct, the images I have appatently are insufficient in quality for the desired size of prints....I'm starting my Monday by trying to obtain the originals today, thank you for the hint!
