Dr. Sophia Yin has died

I'm heartbroken, she was still young. I so badly wanted to see her speak one day. She has helped so many pets and handlers, and has made huge strides in the world of Force-Free training and stress free handling. She leaves a huge hole.

Sara, Munch (deaf Domestic Shorthair),
Oliver (hearing Irish Terrier X),
Mouse (deaf and vi Mini Dachshund),
Boo (deaf and vi Mini Dachshund),
Kat (partially deaf, and vi Mini Dachshund)

I saw this on Facebook... Very sad.

The world has lost an amazing trainer. RIP Sophia.

I had never heard of her. Reading through her blog/pages, she was a very interesting woman with a lot of great ideas.

Most impressive lady.

I've never heard of her either. I'm sure her legacy of animal advocacy will live on though. RIP Dr. Yin.
