Start cooking a new recipe..... get halfway through and realized I have no canned tomatoes. I always have canned tomatoes on hand! Now it's either shower and dress for a 3 minute run to Safeway or put it all aside until tomorrow....

It's times like this I miss having a husband.

LOL! MowMow, my hubby will use the last thing of something, out of the pantry or cupboards...and NOT tell me...
Then he wonders why whatever it is...isn't replaced when I go shopping!:what:
I've even hung a writing tablet in the pantry...:rolleyes: doesn't get used!
Soooo, having a husband, doesn't solve everything!

"A Cat must have three different names:
An everyday family name; A particular name;
And the name but the Cat Himself Knows, and will never confess." T.S. Eliot

Guaranteed he'd bring back the wrong type. My mother asked my father for ice cream sandwiches. He brought home Klondike Bars.

My complaint is about the Petguide app being so persistent with ads lately. A huge popup the second you're about to click a link is very deceiving and it seems like they try to trick people into clicking. For that reason alone I don't use the app. They could do just fine with a small banner-type ad at the top\bottom and have it always display like most apps do.

My phone adblocker only works when connected to WiFi, which is only when home and when I can use my own computer. It has seriously cut my catforum time down to almost nothing because I'm not home too often :/

I have couple of weeks and I have no idea. I can't say I have worked hard at preparing my skills and I am overweight which makes it harder to find a job. HA fat and old. At least my cats don't notice. I am calling all my doctors today trying to get in before I have no benefits.

Oh no. What an awful position to be in. It's smart to take advantage of as many benefits as you can. Do they give you any severance pay?

You now my daughter asked that and what I realized is they gave me notice so I work until they lay me off in 2-4 weeks. I plan to start sending out resumes but I wouldn't say I am a hot prospect.
