Picked up a little bluetooth gizmo yesterday that hooks to my old stereo receiver. Now I can stream Amazon Prime music from my tablet to my stereo speakers. Works awesome!

Happy New Year everyone!

Happy New Year!

I'm also happy I found a new 'bribe' food for MowMow. Mom is visiting and she was in the mood for a liverwurst sandwich. It's not something I ever really eat. I have to be in a mood for it. Anyhoo, I opened up that package and I think ever cat for a 1 mile radius started meowing.

MowMow about took out the computer getting to the kitchen table to beg for it. Everyone got a bite (yesterday) and when we finished it off tonight for dinner the young 'uns were still locked up from eating their dinner so it was just MowMow. HE gots LOTS of liverwurst.

Twice in one week is enough for me for another year. I like it OK, but not enough to buy on a regular basis. Besides, it has to be just so in order to not be gross. A good kaiser roll, lots of mayo, lots (and I mean LOTS) of red onion, and extra black pepper on the sandwich with the liverwurst.

However now I know if I need to bribe MowMow into eating I can pick up a little chunk of it from the deli and he'll go CRAZY for it.

And here I thought I was the only one who put mayo on liverwurst. Not something I eat regularly, can't remember the last time I had it. Krissy...I'd think liverwurst would play havoc with your gout...just as well you don't eat it too often.

I've been on the alert for any of the symptoms signaling an attack. I've been pretty loose and free this past week with my eating. My mom visiting has been a fun eating vacation.

Not only did I eat liverwurst yesterday I had clam chowder and crab cakes for lunch. I'm pushing my luck big time right now and a flare is imminent of I don't settle down.

I planned out next week's meals last night, it's all VERY low purine. Not even a bite of lentil, asparagus, or mushroom in the whole list.
