Using backspace on keyboard

Does anyone remember where to go to set the speed of using the backspace button. When I am using backspace to delete a long sentence it goes really slow and I know there is an area where you can go to set it. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it...

Thanks!

depends on what OS and/or program you're using, but you could try Start> Settings>Control Panel>Keyboards.

If you're still running XP Pro like you said in the other topic, catnip is right.

Just go to control panel and then to keyboards. You'll see the "repeat rate" - adjust that to a faster setting.. you can test it right there in that window to get it how you want it.

Let me know if it doesn't work.
