Sick

I just feel like getting some sympathy.
I'm sick, I have a fever and chills and a sore throat. I got my blood drawn at the lab where I work and my white blood cell count is high. Then I felt like I almost passed out and almost threw up. I called the doctor but he doesn't have any open appointments today.
I have to be better soon since I'm driving home Wednesday night so that I can do wedding stuff for a few days. Hopefully I'll feel better by then.

Awwww! I'm sending sympathy your way.

Being sick is awful.

I send cinnamon buns your way if you can stomach them. My co-worker sends avgoulemono (greek chicken soup).

I am just finally getting over being sick - sinus infection, sore throat, body aches, loss of voice for 3 days -- I can now do more than squeak!
It was absolutely miserable!!

So I send you a warm blanket and some echinacea herbal tea with honey in it. I lived off of it for a week. It's wonderful for soothing your sore throat (and it's comforting).

Get well soon!

Poor Shlanon! Get well soon. I'll be there with chicken soup and a back rub if you don't soon feel better. Here's another hug for you.

Thanks guys! I am still feeling cruddy but a little better. Went to the doctor and got antibiotics. I need to get a thermometer because I couldn't tell how high my fever was yesterday. The nurse checked it today said 99.6 and I don't even feel like I have one at all. So she said yesterday when I had fever and chills it might have been around 102! Glad I took the ibuprofen to bring it down!
It's so annoying because I just got over a cold about a week or so ago. Bleh. But my pharyngitis should be on the mend with my antibiotics now.
Thanks for the teas, hugs and sympathy!
JeannieNShiva I hope you start feeling better.
