Could Use Some Positive Thoughts And Prayers

I've generally been trying to keep up with all that's been going on in this group. For awhile it looks like it will only be an occasional peek.

My wife had a stroke this morning. She's in the hospital, and I'll probably be spending quite a bit of time with her. The full extent and seriousness hasn't yet been fully evaluated. So far we know she lost partial use of one arm, her speech is slurred, her visions is blurry, one side of her mouth feels numb and facial expressions on that side are reduced. Most serious so far is her inability to swallow.

We haven't spent much time apart in the 37 years we've been married. The house sure seems lonely right now. Any prayers and well wishes would be appreciated.

You will be in our prayers, I hope she makes a full recovery. I have a great-great grandmother who had a stroke recently, & made a complete recovery.
This is from us!

Could use some positive thoughts

You and your wife will be in my thoughts. I have a friend who had a stroke aged only 41. That was two years ago, and now you would never guess she had been ill.
I do hope your wife will be OK.
Every good wish
