Done!

You really can't tell the color well in these which sucks because the color is the best part but oh well.

Wow it looks very nice!
Have you known how to sew ..use a sewing machine? What was your guide in doing this..
You are certainly inspiring me

explore, doubt and discover for yourself what is the truth.

Actually I had no clue how to sew until this. The Duvet cover and the Dust Ruffle were 90% hand sewn (it took HOURS AND HOURS) Then I got frustrated and bought a sewing machine to finish, which i'd also never used before. I started by knowing what fabric colors I wanted, and the basic type of fabric I was going to use (Silk Dupioni, I wanted the irridescence) then I drew a simple outline of how I wanted it to look. I used my old comforter as a pattern for the size (queen size oversized) and cut and pinned everything together, when hand sewing I used the pins as a guide. I would line the pin up with the line I was going o sew then sew over the pin to keep my stitches small and straight and even. I removed the pins one by one while machine sewing though because they can damage the needle.
