Hi guys I am 14 years and would like to make a little bit of extra money to save up for this thing and to get out a bit more you know? Well anyway I need some suggestions on what I can do. Here are the things I have already tried: washing cars (no one wants one not there or hasn't got a car!) pestering my mum and dad for a raise on my pocket money (but the said NO!), setting up a pet-sitter service but I have had no replies and all the posters and leaflets were given out 3 months ago. So if you can help it will extremely helpful. Take in mind I am extrememly into doing animals.

P.S. There are no job openings at the newspaper rounds and I have tried asking to walk peoples dogs but they all said no.

May Pepa live forever in my heart.

When I was 14 I started working at a pet store. I think I got pretty lucky getting that job though. Are there any restaurants close by? You could wash dishes or bus tables.

When I was 14 I babysat a lot. It wasn't great money, and it wasn't steady money, but it was still money

when I was your age I scooped snow, mowed grass, painted garages and fences, raked leaves, delivered newspapers, worked at a grocery store.

How about cleaning up after pets? I know some people around here that make good money being yard pooper scoopers! just a thought

I started at Mcdonalds when I was 14 and stayed there for five looong years. Yeah, it was a crappy job but there wasn't many other possibilities since I only 14....alot places wouldn't hire till 16.

At that age I got a part-time job filing in the accounting dept of a manufacturing plant. I spoke with the counselor at school, and there was a listing of jobs there just for students. I also got a waiver so I could work at that age.

When I was 14 I had a steady baby sitting job. I watched the boy accross the street every day after school and one night on the weekends. Occasionaly I babysat for other people too. At 15 I started my first resturant job.
