Healthy soup recipes

Every winter I make 3-4 pots of soup, portion them out, and freeze them for quick meals. I love soup!!! I'd eat it every meal, every day if I could.

But, I am trying to clean up my diet and lose a few pounds (so far so good).

Anyone have suggestions on cookbooks and/or links to healthy (low-cal/low-fat/low-sodium... whatever) soup recipes?

Also, let me know if you've tried them!

I did a little looking around on Books a Million's website (they have LOTS of bargain books) and came up with:
"Saved by Soup - More Than 100 Delicious Low-Fat Soups to Eat and Enjoy Every Day"
$7.99 (bargain book)
"1,001 Low-Fat Soups & Stews - From Elegant Starters to Hearty One-Pot Meals"
"1,001 Low-Fat Vegetarian Recipes - Easy, Great-Tasting Dishes for Everyone- From Appetizers and Soups to Entrees and Desserts"
$7.99 (bargain book)
"Low-Fat Ways to Cook Soups & Stews

Those are just a few... they have hundreds and hundres of soup and stew cookbooks, but those are the ones that came up when I searched for "low fat soup"

Also... if you order over $25 you get free shipping

One soup suggestion that is really good is that whenever you make a whole pot of soup fresh, let it sit in the fridge for a while before you freeze it. Eventually the fat all pools in the top and you can just scoop it out. This should lower the oil/fat content of the soup and make it just a tad healthier!

Tomato soup is healthy, right? Gosh I hope so.

I just prepare fresh vegetables and slow cook them in a family size can of tomato soup all day. I love it. You can add ground meat or stew beef if you're feeling daring, but that defeats the purpose of being healthy.

I love soups! ... it's a staple food in our household. We cook meat soups, vegetable with either regular cabbage, sour cabbage or red beets, split pea with cold-smoked ribs, mushroom, cold soups with beets and cucumbers/eggs <- amazing taste!

... plus, all are all-natural home-cooked and healthy. Not for the ankits dieter though, too much cabbage in all of them, except the cold soup with veggies and eggs, that one is OK
