Aaahh Help! Bake-Off tomorrow!
Okay I dont bake, okay? We are having this bake-off tomorrow at work and a few days ago I found a recipe for banana meringue pie. I practiced it on Wed. night and totally screwed it up. The filling was not thick enough and my merinque was beatutiful but weepy underneath. (I learned about weeping merinques online, lol). Sol I had a runny wet pie.
Tonight the filling is perfect and the pie is in the fridge naked because I dont want to ruin it with the meringue again. I am so worried I will screw it up.
Do you think I can top it with Whipped Cream and it will still be okay? I have never made a cream pie. Advice por favor! Thanks guys.
