Scrapbooking

I want to start a scrapbook of my cats and some with my vacation stuff in there. I have no idea how to get started but I want to get some ideas for how to put pictures in there, what kind of binder or album to buy. Does anyone have pictures of their own scrapbooks they want to share

Also what do you use those square sheets of colored paper for? I've seen a store carry a full wall of them and wondering what to use them for too......

My good friend does amazing scrapbooks! I am just starting, as I love hers, and I got a lot of inspiration from her stuff. Check them out here for some ideas...

Hope that helps!

http://www.scrapbooking.com is another great source. It's an on-line magazine that you can even subscribe to.

I suggest going to Michael's or look in yellow pages for a scrapbook store near you and sign up with a beginning scrapbook class. They'll cover supplies, basic pages, embellishments - not all in one class but after you learn the fundamentals, you take more classes. Then later you incorporate your own creative flair. All that paper you see are used for background and then you layer or matt your pictures on top of it. There are lots of reference books too. Once you start, you'll get hooked. I have 2 furbaby books so far and 2 more to do.

I hope that helps. Have fun.

I would be glad to show you pictures of Harley's kitty (baby) book. What is the best way? Maybe upload to the cat gallery?

I love making scrap books! They are so much fun - but if you want to do a lot of neat stuff - sometimes you have to pay a lot. I REALLY have to watch myself in those stores... one time... I ended up spending nearly $100 on little stickers, papers, frames, decorations and pens!
