Painting my room ... mural?

Well I've decided tonight that I need a change in the color/look/design of my room (part of my process of 'finding my self' ). Anyways for about a year now I've been trying to decide a paint color, and I'm lost.

Right now my bedspread is a sea foam green (like a blue-ISH, green-ISH lol) and it has some white too, so its very crisp looking I guess you could say, and my walls are a light lavender.

SO I was thinking, since I'm the creative type, that I would paint some kind of a mural or symbol, but I'm not sure what (and maybe not change wall color and just incorporate it) . I am 18 (soon 19) so I dont want it to be babyish or anything, I kind of wanted something fun and IF I was to do a scenery then something like a 'get away' not the fairiy tale type thing ... do you know what I mean?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Ooooh fun!

Okay, bear with me for a second here, check this out:

Try to see past the pink - it's obviously for a little girl's room, but the look of the painted window that overlooks a scene is pretty fun! You could easily paint a window frame and the open panels on your current walls, then white out the center and paint in your view.

I love the window idea, I wish I'd seen it before I redecortaed my room! Yes, that would look really nice, and if you mix it with ashdrye's idea and have a view to an underwater scene, that would look really nice!

another idea would be to do the room a similar colour to your bedspread, then doing a very simple yet unique silver design on a wall, quite big, and have it as the main focus of the room.
