Does anyone know this movie?

I would like to rent this, so I hope some of you movie buffs will be able to help me out.

I saw a piece of this movie in a scene out of "Twister". It's when Aunt Meg is watching TV right before her town gets hit by the tornado. She is watching a movie where Judy Garland is puting on make-up back stage and she is talking to a man. That's about all they show.

What's the name of that movie?

I'm not familiar with the movie, but here's a start:

Here is a list of every Judy Garland movie.

Perhaps it was "Presenting Lily Mars"?

If memory serves, it was the original version of "A Star is Born."

I agree with Gudewife. I think that's it.

I remember thinking when I first saw the movie in high school, "Nice touch having the #1 tornado jokey (Garland) make a second-hand cameo in 'Twister.'" It's so subtle, but brilliant! "Meg, I don't think we're in Oklahoma anymore."

This isn't important; it's trivial, but I believe there was "A Star is Born" with Janet Gaynor - (Silent?) before we were born. That makes three of them! Yes, ironic to show Judy Garland in the background of Twister!
