*sigh* Charlie is being neutered today....

I've been through this waiting process many times before. And each time, I feel the same nervousness.

The house seems much more still and quiet, this afternoon. He'll come home tomorrow afternoon.

My foster kitty is getting spayed today too ... I just called to check on her, and she's doing fine. Hope Charlie is doing okay!

Thanks Katie. Hope your foster kitty's spay went good too!

Charlie is home now and doing well. There were a couple of minor complications, but he's doing good now! The vet said that the "cord" is normally tied around after a neutering. His wouldn't stay put though, so she had to secure it with stitches and gave him some antibiotics for that. So far, so good....he doesn't seem to be biting the area. Also, found at that his tapeworms are back so I had him treated for that, too.

I brought her home this morning, and she still seems to be out of it. My little kitty wants to play with her, but she is definitely not in the mood! She is biting at her stitches -- know any way to stop that? I thought about wrapping an ace bandage around her tummy for a few days to keep her away from it, but I don't know if that will hurt her.
