Blizzard Pictures

Well...we certainly got a blizzard! We got about 24 or 25 inches already...and its still snowing and blowing outside. Someone told me that there were wind gusts of 74 miles per hour last night! I'm sure glad we were cozy and warm inside! This morning Brett and I decided to go outside and check things out.

getting ready to go outside....

These are the cars outside our front door.

This is the car that is parked next to our house.

This is Brett's big snowball...which he threw at me after I took this picture.

there are two cars in this picture...the one you can see and the one in front of it under that big snow drift!

our street

Yes...the snow really is almost waist deep on me in some places!

this is our car...

Brett....are you making a snow angel?

Heather and Jack know how to keep warm!!

Harley helps me with all my computer stuff...

yesterday he helped me chat with my sisters (he's on my lap in this picture)

Wow! You guys really got dumped on!
We got about six inches of snow, then the wind came up and blow it all over. Ended up with a drift about four feet high in front of the garage, but the rest of the driveway was basically clear. My husband used the snow blower for the first time this winter.
I hate snow. I'm ready for spring....

Northwest Indiana got about that much snow, and lake effect to boot. My mom ended up staying at my apartment in West Lafayette on Saturday because it snowed all day and my dad didn't want her to drive on I-65 (white out conditions, snow drifting across both lanes, etc.).

They didn't take pictures though...I wish they had. =o/

It looks like you can get on top of a car and just slide down in the snow! I've never been in any snow like that, but I am such a wimp for the cold. Especially if it is windy too
