When completed in 2008 it will have 160+ floors and a height of around 2150' not including the spire.

Wow That will beat the current record by almost 400ft!
Its a nice design for a building too. Really puts shame to the "architecture" of our Sear's Tower.

I was watching a show about the Petronas Towers not long ago... Did you know that their structure was made entirely out of concrete!? They weren't allowed to import any steel...

It actually surpasses the current record by a lot more than 400ft either way you look at it.

Height to Roof:

Taipei 101: ~1470'
BD: ~2150'
Difference: ~680'


Height to top of spire:

Taipei 101: 1667'
BD: 2300+'
Difference: 633+'

lol, I guess my math skills need a little work. I think I was comparing the height of Taipei 101 with spire to height of BD without it...

Well I'd love to go to Dubai sometime, perhaps by the time that thing is built I'll have enough money to go.
