Anyone watch the ashes?

Australia 190 all out.
England 92 for 7

I didnt get to watch the game, my bf hates cricket. I only got to see the highlights on the news, but it looked like a great game. Someone got a bouncer right in the face, which always reminds me of why I wear a helmet.

Buuut this was only the first innings, we shall we
I was hopeful that England might actually stand a chance this year, we have a good time who have done well so far. But it looks like the aussies also have a good team this year!

(I dont expect many of you will, do they show it in the usa?)

There are a lot of sports channels on cable, but I have only four. I haven't seen cricket, I'm afraid. Now, Wimbledon is a different story! Can't live without tennis! I'd like to see Henman win it some year.

Ahhh I dont like tennis
I dont think henman will be playing for a great deal longer in Wimbledon. On the TV they said he is hitting 40, which of course I know isnt old, but in sporting terms it is getting on a bit playing someone half your age.

It's hard to believe he's that old. Of course, 40 is young, but as you mentioned, many champions were winning major tournaments when they were half that age.

I watched a little of the ashes first test (I am Australian). I hope it is a close series. I am surprised at how many people are out in bothe teams with such a low score. I think the pitch is good for the bowlers at the moment! Either team can win.
