Ever get a song stuck in your head?

Last two days mine is the Safety Dance by Men Without Hats. grrrr That number bugged me in the 80's. Still does.

Nope.... never happened to me.
haha

yes, of course! Safety Dance! Men Without Hats - I used to LOVE them! My radio station always called them Men Without Pants so I always think if that everytime I hear them.

I've had "Lonely No More" by Rob Thomas stuck in my head for the past few days. As much as I like the song I'm pretty darn sick of hearing it.

I hate when that happens, especially when you dislike the song. What helps me is actually hearing the song. Then it gets out of my head.

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears
It's a world of hopes and a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all

There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to everyone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world

I know you all hate me now!

Hey, all you out there without children...

For some real fun, you should tune in to a TV channel called NOGGIN (most extended cable packages have it). It's a channel that shows nothing but preschool-aged television from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time 7 days a week. It's basically on in my house as long as the kids are awake. They're way too young to understand any of the content in the shows but they really pay attention to the music, and so does mommy! Even when the TV isn't on I find myself singing theme songs to the shows over and over again in my head. Sometimes they repeat for about half hour over and over in my head until I fall asleep at night. Most of the shows are really cute and great for the young-uns but the songs grate on your nerves after a while.
