Awesome!!! We're going to see it Thanksgiving evening...can't wait!

I heard on tv that the next movie won't be out until 2007.

I didn't think it was as good as the others. It was just too compressed. I know it's a big book, but unless you've read the books, I don't think some parts you would get. Like the polyjuice potion at the end, I guess maybe if you could remember from the second movie then you'd get it. It was a good movie though, in general, i loved the dragons! I went and saw it opening night lol

Yes, I've noticed that from a lot of them...there's some things you just need to read the books for.

I thought it was the best one so far and really enjoyed it. I agree, if you want to be absolute with the storylines then there is much missing from the book and it is very compressed but for me that didn't change the fact that it was a good fun movie

My daughter really wants to see it. I don't allow PG-13 movies (she's 9) so I have to think about it. She's read the first four books over the last couple of weeks.

What's it like as far as graphic violence and general scariness?

Why the PG-13 rating on this one?

I liked it, for what it was. I also think that they'd not only make a better movie but a bigger profit if they made a two parter (ala kill bill vols 1 and 2) so they could have put more of the side stories in (the Rita Skeeter line and the Weasly twins joke shop asperations) because they're IMPORTANT in the 5th year

lymekaps, did your daughter read the book? if she did then it'd probably be ok to see it, if not, have her read it first so she's prepared for the sheer amount of death in this one

Ooh, I forgot about that at the end! I wonder if that's part of the reason for the PG-13 rating...
