Landscape painting

Its been a while since I've done any painting. It's been awhile since I even COMPLETED a painting. I did painte this directly on the wall at our cabin. I would like your opinions because I will be presenting this on a slide at a meeting next week. Thank you.

View 2 Here's another perspective so that you can get an idea of the size. My husband is going to make a frame out of moulding and will nail it right into the wall.

Thanks so much KitKat. I needed just even one feedback because I'm in a hurry. This department that I'm doing temp work as a legal contracts assistant want the admins to do a 2 page presentation at the dept holiday party about what we did at work and one page for personal info this past year. I think its lame to do it at this time (or at all) and there are going to be 60 people to do this in front of. I don't have a problem speaking in front of a group but I just didn't have anything I wanted say that was "personal". One lady is showing pics of her new baby, the other her wedding and one real shallow lady is going to show her new home. So the only thing I could think of is this painting I did 3 weeks ago. Is it me or this whole presentation idea inappropriate for a dept party?! I have to turn in my slides today for a dry run this Friday. I have so much REAL work to do than bother with this. Grrrrr.

I was going to say to paint a wood frame around it -- but your husband making one is even better.

I LOVE it. I love the muted colors and I love the Impressionist feel I get from it. Great job!

Awww, I'm too late! Oh well, I still want to say that it's a very lovely painting. If the colors translated properly, then I see a clear influence of Van Gogh in both palette and brushwork. I really like it!

I'm late too, MA, but I want you to know how much I like it! I like to do landscapes. There's only one difference; you're talented!

Thank you all for the compliments and boost. This is the only personal thing I could come up with as far as personal accomplishments this past year. Too bad I didn't do a painting of one my cats. That'll come next. So tomorrow we do a dry run.
