Anyone get their utility bill yet?

My SIL stopped by last nite and showed me her utility bill for 11/10 to 12/10. It was $407! $125 for electric and $282 for gas!! I've had my thermostat set on 64 degrees but after seeing that bill I lowered it to 61.

Brrrrrrr, I'm freezing here.

Ours was $0. Actually, we have electric only, and our bill was $125 but we've been at our place long enough that our deposit was credited back. We were lucky to have a very mild November. I'm soooo glad we don't have gas.

November's bill was more than $200, and it wasn't even that cold yet. I don't want to know what this one will be like.

Electric is usually only around $30/mo. We don't go wild at the holidays. Not a single light has been strewn, and I don't plan to put them up until I absolutely have to.

We have NO gas in our apartment -- everything is electric. I'm sooo thankful right now!

ours was $80 for our 700sqft place...not bad, but then a third of it is locked up in storage so....i guess whether its high or not is up to your interpretation

GRRR....mine electric, water, and garbage/sewage was about $90.

It was $60 last month (no AC, no heating)

I had to cancel gas earlier this year, so my electric bills shot up.

I owe Matt $140 for our utilities... but that's back a few months I havn't paid yet

Thankfully our house has 7 people splitting the bill, so a $300 isn't felt AS much.

Well, here they are predicting that the bills will be 50% higher than last year. So, if last year was $100 than this year will be 150.

We had a really mild November, I didn't even turn on my heat until Thanksgiving weekend. I just got my December bill and it was only 75-about normal.
I've always kept my house around 60 and just wear sweats, sweatshirts, and socks. Plus sleep with sheets, a blanket, a feather comforter, and a normal comforter, 2 dogs and 2 cats! I like a cold room when I sleep so I feel all comfy and warm in my womb!

haha ya no problems there I've been living in the house longer than most of my roomies, so we looked for people who would be good with the cats. I didn't want to be worrying about them everytime I left the house!
