New Year's Resolution

I have already made my resolution - which is to visit the Catforum more often. I have become really out of touch recently

I'm very excited about Christmas - tomorrow we are flying off to Venice for a week! Its our present to each other. And also we will celebrate Partner's b'day there (Thurs).

But when I come back I hope to re-engage with the Catforum again! Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas. What are your New Year's Resolutions?

Seashell, I have a question: Is "Partner" a forename or is that what you call your "partner"? I'm just curious...

My resolution: Drink more water!

How lovely! I just went to Venice in May. If you like museums, make sure to go to the Guggenheim. And do enjoy the stunning view from the Accademia bridge. You will certainly enjoy this unique city.

My resolutions -- to get more physically fit, spend more one-on-one time with my kids and husband, get more involved in community service with my kids, and to maintain my GPA.

Get myself organized, in my head and my home. I am very neat and tidy until you open a closet or drawer. Same thing in my head. My brain is always in overdrive thus making it very difficult for myself to pay attention to the every day mundane details of life. Example. Last night I stopped at the drug store to purchase a tooth brush (long story posted on Cat Chat) using my debit card. I get back to my car and noticed I lost a glove (the first of the season) I spent the next 15 minutes searching the glove down. Of course this morning I found the glove wedged between the seat and the console. This afternoon I was going to run over to the dollar store, can't find my debit card. Somethimes it sucks being me.

Shelley, that's a great resolution! You haven't been here often enough lately!

Reprot, I hate to tidy drawers. I have about three "junk" drawers in the kitchen, and my silverware drawer is overflowing. Don't feel bad.

Jeanie, that's so funny -- my mom always had a junk drawer, and I'm a firm believer in the junk drawer philosophy. When we moved into our new house over the summer, I discovered we only have one kitchen drawer -- now where's a girl to hide all of her pens, matches, scissors, decks of cards, gum, etc., etc., etc.?!?! I now have junk baskets, but I really miss the out-of-sight drawer.

It's unavoidable, more valuable than silver and gold! Besides the batteries, emergency candles, and all the things you mentioned, I find Allen wrenches, (sp?}, monkey wrenches, open end wrenches, adjustable wrenches, etc., etc., and I'm not the mechanic in the family. All I want is pliers, a hammer, and two types of screwdriver, and they're in my tool box. I bought my own baby blue tool box, so he wouldn't steal my tools. Now, I think his tools are reproducing!

My New Year's Resolutions are...

1. Continue to lose more weight (which was my Resolution this year and I lost 28 lbs...hoping for 30 by the end of the year...so I'm happy with my progress).

2. Finish my senior thesis project and graduate!

3. Get engaged...but I need a little help from EChryst on this one, huh?

My Top 10 New Year's Resolution are:

1) Not to be too hard on myself (I need to be less pesimistic)

2) Be thankful and appreciate what I have and what I've acocmplished instead of obsessing and focusing things on I don't have nor have I accomplished

3) Lost body fat, I've lost 10lbs since August, and probably gained baout 5 lbs of muscle. Pretty satisfied, just need to lose body fat--hopefully down to 18%?!?!? A girl can dream.

4) Find a job, get hired--but that's not entirely up to me.

5) Save money.

6) Be more optimistic. (Oh, I already said that one).

7) Spend more time with friends and family

Drink less coffee

9) Stop procratinating

10) Appreciate my bf just a little bit more than I already do (I do like Chrystal's #3 though--I wouldn't mind getting engaged *looks at bf*) lol
