Something Special for Christmas

I thought it would be nice to share this with those of you who celebrate Christmas. Perhaps you'd like to share it with your Christian friends and family.

Perhaps one of our Jewish members will share the traditions of Hanukkah with us!

Thank you so much for sharing that, Jeanie. It's true, Christmas isn't about gifts, it's about celebrating Jesus and everything else the "poem" said. Merry Christmas to all!

There was a comedian on TV the other night. He was Jewish and was talking about how the Christians scored with the holiday - he said, you guys got the tree, lights, shopping, presents, and I understand at some point it had something to do with religion...." It was really funny and I laughed but then I thought later it was kinda sad.

Thanks for this!

I would love this, if someone could take the time to share. I really know nothing about Hanukkah, and I would like to understand the traditions. I had a Jewish roommate in college, but she knew nothing. I tried to ask her about traditions and such but all she knew was when she was supposed to go to Temple.
