"60 days" sentencing for raping a child!

Vermont judge should be horse-whipped!

"The flurry of activity and attention stemmed from a sentencing in Vermont District Court in Burlington on Wednesday. Mark Hulett, 34, of Williston admitted to sexually assaulting a young girl for four years, but was ordered by Judge Edward Cashman to serve only 60 days in prison."

Or put them both in a penetentury. Even convicted cons won't allow a "short-eyes"(man who molest children) to live long!

There have been two absolutely horrific cases involving children over here in recent weeks...

There would be near riots if a judge here dare hand down a 60 day sentence for such a crime!

I wonder if this scumbag is related to former Florida judge, Harry Rapkin. He was the judge that gave Joseph Smith a slap on the wrist sentence. Smith then went on to abduct and murder Carlie Bruscia.

I wonder if the citizens of the district that judge Cashman presides over could get enough signatures to force a recall election? Whatever the case, I do not think he will get another term on the bench.

Why is it when a judge get's elected, he/she fails to remember they are a PUBLIC SERVANT? We pay their salaries so therefore, they work for US!

ugh...I live in burlington, Vt and I didn't even hear about this. Without a tv and reading only the more independent papers I miss this kind of stuff. It is pretty sickening.
