Little Bit of Spring Today

It is 60 degrees in South Jersey today, oh my gawd I feel like breaking into a Julie Andrews song. By February I'm usually drooling and petting the flowers in the garden cataloges.

Although on the news either last night or this morning I thought I heard something about a cold snap.

Maybe it's just me being cynical, but warm weather like this in January makes me concerned for February and March. I can't stand the years where we get 18+ inches that late.

Accu-weather says it's currently 54 in my zip code, must be warmer in Jersey.

60 degrees sounds real good to me. It got up to 55 today and will hit 60 tomorrow. To bad I've got to work. Got spring fever already and it's only the middle of January.

It's 55 here in Cincinnati -- I'm so angry about this winter -- snow or get warm!

I'm not in Cincinnati, but that's my attitude about where I am. Last year at this time, it was cold and rainy and it was cold enough for it to snow in Mt. Baldy. So far this winter, it's only rained two or three times and of those times only one was cold enough for it to snow in Mt. Baldy...and even then it was in the upper elevations (like 8,000 ft), so we couldn't drive up there to play in the snow.

I want my cold, rainy winter so it can snow up in Mt. Baldy and I want the snow level to be at the 5000 ft. elevation so we can drive up and play in the snow...wa-aaa-hhh!
