Well, most of you know that we adopted Jimmy when his previous Mum, our elderly neighbour, had to go into a care home.
What I didn't bother to tell you was that her husband had gone into a home about 6 months perviously. But because their needs were different they were put in *different* homes
Well I've just heard that their daughter has finally managed to get a place for them together in the same home. We've had Jimmy just over 2 years now, so you see how long its taken to arrange!
I think it is so sad that they had to be split up that wasy - it reminds me of when old people had to go to the Workhouse (either male or female)!
But I'm so glad they are together again.
We often wonder if Jimmy remembers his old life in the downstairs flat.
