Wireless keyboard ?

Can you use a slide-out keyboard tray with a wireless keyboard or will it interfere with the laser beam?

Anyone know?

Tina

So there isn't a "line of sight" problem if the receiver is on top of the desk and the keyboard and mouse are on a slide-out tray below?

I don't think so -- I think it's just distance.

there is no problem.. it doesn't work as a "line of sight" it works like your cell phone or radio, just on air waves. it's just a distance thing.

To clarify, wireless keyboards and mice work on RF (the same thing a remote control works with). There isn't an issue with mine on a pull out tray. Then again, my tray has a cord holder and I just placed my receiver right in front of my keyboard and out of sight and off my desk.

They opperate on the 27mhz band and will work up to 30 feet away from the computer.(Unless you have someone with a CB radio in your area) See my review here:
