Wallpapering and cats

So I did some wallpapering today. What a pita. I laid the paper down to cut, all three cats laid down on it. When I took the paper to the water trough they jumped up on the table. If the paper was "resting" they were sitting on it. I spent ten minutes looking for my scissors only to find them under Big Tom's fat furry body. At one point I put them in the powder room, they cried and carried on to get out, I held firm until I thought Tommy would break the door down. I honestly had no idea he could make that much noise. I had to check to see if the dog was in there with them. All three took turns trying to trip me. I swear I've never had a more frustrating day. Now I'm fighting with the **** border that refuses to stick to the wall. As I sit here and type the kitties are relaxing. When I get up the whole thing will start again. If my head wasn't shaved down, I'd tear my hair out. AND on top of this the dog poops and urinates on my freshly steam cleaned carpet.

Hi reprot,

Sounds like you need a break. Maybe you should wait 'till next weekend to do the rest of it?

My new cat decided he didn't like the wallpaper in the entrance hall. It was old and I think the person who put it up did something wrong because my cat was able to strip it off with his claws. He thought it was great fun. I had a wall with all these pieces of wallpaper hanging down in strips

Well anyway, I got around to removing the rest of the paper and I was lucky because the wall underneath really looks pretty good.

I was thinking about painting my house this summer and then I started to think about how I will handle my new cats around the wet paint

Any suggestions?

I found this picture of you!

Please excuse me for laughing, but I have had days like that, and I know someday you'll laugh about it. I was spring cleaning and exhausted. My toddler was playing in the girls' bedroom, where the one year old was playing in her crib. I went in to get them when I was done with my bedroom to discover that the toddler had emptied a big bottle of baby oil all over the baby and herself! The whole room had to be scrubbed--walls, floor, crib, bed, dresser, windows, everything!--after I got the children out of the bathtub and into clean clothes, that is. There was oil everywhere! The worst of it is that I didn't use baby oil. It had come in a gift set.
