Holiday food

Anyone have any good Easter/Passover dishes. I am so sick of the Easter ham thing. I was thinking about lamb but that may too much for three people, me, dh, and I know my mom would never eat lamb, she barely eats meat.

poor wittle lamby!!

something about eating a lamb for Easter.... I think of lambs lie associated with Easter and the manger and all. So I would be more inclined to eat a pig.

yea I just keep thinking about those poor three legged lambies. We usually do pig on New Years day. Aw heck as lazy as I am, I'll probably con the dh into going out for dinner.

I can tell you that you really don't want to serve an Easter ham for Passover.

I have plenty of lamb in the fridge, so that's what I'll be cooking.

Can I come over to your house for Easter? My mom won't cook lamb because the smell makes her nauseous.

My mom used to make standing rib roast!
We had a lamb shaped cake pan, it was a little freaky but the thing could actually stand up! I remember using jelly beans for the eye!
