THANK YOU!!!! i am a teacher and just loved your post. I am going to copy it, take it to school and copy more and distribute it to the other teachers, then i am sending it to the local paper and THEN to the politicians. If they had to do this, they couldn't. They have NO clue what us teachers go through. Thanks, and are you a teacher?

I am not but I have 2 sisters who are and a neice who is studying to be one. That little essay was only a general outline of what a teacher has to do. It didn't get to the particulars at all! Teachers are woefully underpaid for what they do and what they are responsible for. They sould be paid double (if not more) what they are making IMO.

That would be so great to see. I am a teacher, well I am laid off right now. Teaching is not easy, but it is rewarding. I can't see me doing anything else.

THANK YOU!

I am sickened every day by the fact that I actually get paid more at my part-time filing job than I do teaching.

Thank you! We certainly don't get the high pay in cash, but the job (for me) is the best out there.
