Picture help needed! *NEVERMIND!*

My sister took a couple of pictures of my tattoo with her cell phone for me on Easter Sunday. I saved them to our computer, but when I tried to upload them to Photobucket, I got this error:

* Error: Unable to upload the file "butterfly tattoo1".
BUTTERFLY TATTOO1 files are not an allowed image type.

Does anyone know how to fix this so I can upload the pictures to Photobucket and then post them to the various places that I visit where my friends are asking to see the tat?

Check the file extension name. For example, is it butterflytat.jpg?

I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I do know that there are some picture files that I can't open on my computer.

Yes, it was saved as a JPEG, but Photobucket isn't recognizing it for some reason.

I'm so confused...

Nevermind. I figured it out. I should've had an underscore "_" instead of a space in the filename.

Copy the file to another directory. RENAME the COPIED file to "butterfly tattoo1.bmp" and see if that works. IF NOT go here:

http://www.irfanview.com and download this FREE graphics program. Then open the file using IT and RESAVE it in Irfanview to using whatever extension you want.
