Why are we here

All the animals on Earth and interconnected in some way, and if one certain species dies many others suffer as well.
So where do we come in this? If our race dissappeared would anything realy change?

So the question is, why are we here?

Sincerely, Krystle.

I think everything would change. There would be more room for all the other species

If you think about it, a lot of the dying out of species is because of human encroachment. If that disappeared, those species would thrive. There's a balance that we disrupt and I think it would restore itself.

I'm not saying that we have no purpose but to destroy, just that we are overstepping our boundaries.

As to what our purpose is... I think everyone has a different answer to that. I honestly have no idea what the purpose of the species as a whole is.

wow, that sounds so impersonal... as if I'm not even PART of the species lol sorry.

I agree with Breelia.
As for the other reason, at this stage in my life I feel that we are here to learn lessons - from our own mistakes, each other, and the history of human kind. We are here to learn to love each other and be non-judgemental of each other because each one of us is walking a different path and has to make their own decision based on their own life experiences.
And another reason - just as highly important as any other is to be respectful of mother earth and all of her treasures, be they plants or animals. We can learn from a lot of animals unconditional love among other things.
I feel that I am here to watch, learn , not repeat mistakes and put the learned lessons into practice.
Easy to say..
