My house sold!

I haven't said anything because I didn't want to jinx it before the inspections and appraisal.
My house sold in 3 (THREE) days for $1000 over list price! (I had 2 offers!).
I had the inspection yesterday and I just have 2 windows to replace the glass because of broken seals (thanks Guinness!) and I need to reseal on the roof around one of the vent pipes.
I didn't have the swamp cooler up and running yet, so they have to come back for that tomorrow, but it's running now and working fine.
Now, I just have the termite inspection tomorrow and it's all done!

I did also put an offer that was accepted on a house where I'm moving to!

WOW.

I thought it meant that. However, isn't that owned by the Department of Defense? I thought you were more of a private sector kind of person.

Of course, if it is classified.....I don't need to know

Los Alamos is pretty expensive to live in. I hope everything works well over there for you.

How does your significant other feel about this?

They gave me a significant raise, so after the price of housing (which is about double!) I still get a little extra take home. Housing is about the only thing that is more expensive. Everything else is pretty close to what it is here, other than insurance (car and home) and property taxes which are actually quite a bit lower! It's not as impressive as the raise before you factor in housing, but it is a step up.

I'm currently single, so no one to consider other than myself. Unless you count the dogs that are ecstatic since their best buddies moved up there a few months ago!
