Unfortunately, after exploring all options, we are faced with adopting two of our incredibly personable furballs (due to constant moving due to government employment).
While we would love to take all (5) of our cat kids with us all over the country (and world), two of ours are special-needs (diabetes and renal disease), and thus require daily attention for years to come. Those particular two we cannot part with. Being amazing creatures of habit and routine, however, we have decided that parting with two of our healthy ones would be in their own best interest.
The striped tabby is Baahffi and the grey blue is Chaz. Both are females, 7 yrs of age, spade, in excellent health. Baahffi is good with other animals, is incredibly gentle with her human caretakers, and is undeniably loyal. Chaz is more independent, thus would do well in a single cat home. She is energetic, intensely friendly, and is highly mobile.
While I realize the chances are slim, I hope the community may have suggestions on how best to approach our current cat dilemma.
