Smile Blue Update 8/9

I hope you dont mind all of these updates on my new kitty...

It has been 22 days now since blue has been with us. I am happy that she is here.

The only problem is that my parents arent to fond of buyn kitten food. Since its so expensive. Shoprite does not carry it. So we get the kitten food at petsmart. My mom only gets a few cans. So i have to spare the kitten food into 3 days. Then i start a new can. ::sigh::

Blue likes to play in the water bowl. She puts her paw in the water and then spills the water all over the place. So i clean it up . Sometimes i would find her toys soaking wet. So i take them away(1 or 2 toys)and put them in the window to dry.

So last night was the first time that i took blue up to my bedroom. She had a good time! She went under my dresser and under my nightstand. But then she came out.

I put her on my bed... i have a pink blanket on my bed..the pink blanket looks cute with blue on it. hehe

So i gave blue some toys to play with. She likes the feather toys. One even has catnip.

Stache came in to check out the kitty. That was his first time meeting her. He was pretty good about it. He just layed there and watched blue wonder around.

Then stache left. Simba came in. He was playn with blue for a bit. I was watching them play. Simba needed a time out a few times..but then he was fine with blue.

Well thank you for reading this.

I think your blue sounds like a very sweet beautiful kitten. Maybe you could do extra chores or odd jobs around your neighborhood to earn extra money for blue's kitten food?

As a growing kitten, Blue must eat more..in proportion--than if she were an adult cat. He has to have enough nutrition and quantity to grow. It's absolutely essential. If your mother doesn't want to buy more kitten food, make sure you supplement with adult food. It would be better to have kibble or adult food than to do without enough food. I'm sure you'd agree. As Katlover said, perhaps you could earn some money doing odd jobs. Please keep us informed.

Well my mom gave in and got a few cans of canned kitten food for blue. She even got her a cute pink collar.

Ive been taking blue to my bedroom every day. She loves it. We even take naps together. Then around dinner time i bring her back to the office to eat and go potty. Then after dinner its back to my room to play. Then around 10pm back to the office to sleep.

I am hoping to get her adpoted out soon.

Whoops! I thought Blue was a boy! She sounds like a sweet kitty. I'm glad your mom is helping out.
