Raw for the diabetic cat
I think I've finally somewhat convinced the boyfriend to switch Bosco to a different food. He's been on W/D since he was diagnosed with diabetes 1.5 - 2 years ago now, he's still obese and his glucose levels are still constantly high. This food isn't helping (no surprise) but the boyfriend insisted the vet knows what he's talking about and that it will help plus he gets a discount and sometimes gets it for free. I have to mention he is the worlds biggest penny pincher so switching foods that he may possibly cost more worries him and he often won't hear me out simply because of the cost.
Anyways, working in a high end pet store, raw is one of the quality foods we sell. I know little about it so I've been trying to learn about it as it does interest me. Would raw be a good path to choose for a diabetic cat? I've been looking into other foods as well but raw in particular interests me.
