Kitten Has The Runs

So, me and my girlfriend started Mr. Jango on his raw food diet yesterday. He ate a whole whack load of raw chicken and seemed fine.

Today though he was very, very, very tired. He wouldn't move barely. We dismissed it as maybe him just having a lazy day.

...but then my girlfriend watched him go to the washroom to make sure everything was ok...and his poop was very runny. It dripped down his leg afterwards it was that runny.

We're worried about this a normal thing when starting them out on a raw food diet?

He's 8months old.

Re: Kitten Has The Runs

My guess is that it's because of the sudden change of diet but I'm no expert. When you change a cats food suddenly it can cause a stomach upset. You should try weaning him.

New Food Old Food
Days 1-3 25% 75%
Days 4-6 50% 50%
Days 7-9 75% 25%
Day 10 100%

Hope that helps!
