Too Much Heart?

Thread title says it all...I'm curious if you can feed too much heart?

My girls love, love, love their hearts. They know which color containers they are kept in in the fridge, and if they don't get a heart as part of their meal, they literally start climbing in the fridge, pawing at the container, and crying for their hearts. XD Because of this they've been getting heart at almost every meal. They get fed twice a day, and the heart is always part of the bigger 'main' meal. Is that too much heart? I don't wanna go overboard on the taurine or anything...

I assume you're feeding them chicken hearts, so this article should be useful:

Thank you so much def kitty!!! That was exactly the answers I was looking for!

Yes, they do get chicken hearts (the Asian market has duck as well but didn't have any last time I went in...I want some for variety though). The article said 7+ hearts a day was excessive because of the sodium in them...my girls get no more than 2-3 per day, depending on if it's a "heart meal" or not...usually it's just 1 per meal so they stop whining at me. Good to know you can't overdose your cat on taurine too.
