Curious if there is a benefit to frankenprey or whole prey?

From the cats health and well-being standpoint does it matter if you feed frankenprey vs whole prey?

I want to go 100% raw, but don't want to have to worry about dividing up meats and prepping meals. Would prefer to just purchase the whole prey since that seems easier.

Is whole prey all the time a viable option or is a mixture a better option?
Anyone on here feed just whole prety?

I'm wondering the same thing too. My cat has eaten whole prey that she caught. She loved it ate the whole thing. Made me wonder if I should do whole prey too. Would she eat something thats allready dead or would I have to buy live and feed it to her.

Whole prey is great, I think it's even better than frankenprey as you're feeding animals the cat is actually naturally capable of eating and you don't have to do any guesswork.

Just remember to still try for variety and feed as many adult animal as you can since I believe I read that young animals don't have the same proportions as adults (though I could be wrong). You can get all sorts of rodents and birds.

And I don't think feeding it live would be good, I think it would be cruel since cats tend to torture their food. Plus there is the risk that the food would injure the cat or get away.

Thanks, was leaning toward whole prey as I feel it would simplify the process. I don't think i could ever feed live prey, that would be cruel and just don't think I could handle seeing my cat kill another animal...
