Raw chicken liver in the freezer for four months

I have raw chicken liver from last August, stored in the freezer. I haven't used it because my kitty showed trouble with chicken meat.
Now he seems to be doing better, I am thinking about pulling it out to feed him.

Do you think it is fine to feed chicken liver that is stored the freezer for four months? Maybe boil it and give it as an occasional treat??

As far as I know, it should be fine, you don't have to cook it at all.

I think as long as the liver was always frozen, i.e., not thawed and frozen again during the 4 month, it should be ok. If you still have concerns, you can cook it. But as you've already mentioned, the cooked liver should only serve as a treat than main meal then. Your cat will enjoy this home-made treat for sure

It should be fine. I have read some members keep meat from one season to the next the year after with no problems. Some cats even like the freezer burn...go figure!
