Suppliments and Vitamins?
Hi, I'm new to raw diet and seeing that my cat is highly allergic to just about any kind of food (chicken, duck, lamb!), I seriously need to prepare his food for him (probably going to be mostly fish, and sometimes turkey canned cat food because I can't get turkey where I'm from).
After browsing through catnutrition.org and catinfo.org, I noticed how they put many dry supplement ingredients into the mix (Vitamin A, D, E, Taurine, Salmon Oil, Natural Glandular?) and was wondering if anyone else is familiar with brands/products they use to put in their own recipe that is safe for cats.
And also, what would happen if cats overdose on these vitamins? Winter has a weak kidney and I don't want to strain said kidney, but I don't want him to be deprived of what he needs either.
Thank you in advance and sorry for sounding like such an idiot because I really don't understand half of the labels in foods (I'm trying very hard though it's not my expertise!)
