how dangerous is this? ground turkey

I made my second batch of raw... and without thinking did a pound of ground turkey to make up for the shortage in pounds for my recipe. Now im reading that its more contagious of bacteria. I did 9 pounds of raw... But also read that cats can fight off the potential of salmonella. Can i just feed and monitor i am taking her to the vet on the 12th for a check up.

I dunno just worried now that i may have contaminated the rest of the raw. I have not fed any to her as were still finishing off the last batch of raw.

I think if it was me I would ask myself if the wasted $$$ on the supplies needed to make the batch is worth the worry I would have feeding it to my cats. It might be easier on you to just toss it and start over. I just don't know about the salmonella thing but why chance it with raw? If what you read is correct it might cost a heck of a lot more in vet bills than the batch of raw cost to make.

I personally would not use it, especially if it was bought preground from a grocery store.
