prey model raw

Misaki was raised by a feral mother and she says that cat food stuff is inedible. We planned raw eventually but my husband lost his job 2 months ago and production of my own animals is not very high right now. After listening to her cry for a week about the inadequacy of even canned meat I decided the dogs will just have to live on their kibble so Misaki can have what's left in the freezer. They will still get some of the heavier bones. Misaki can't crunch much bone yet. She ate some guinea pig legs a couple days ago and has been working on this back half of a guinea pig for 2 days now (refrigerated in between). My husband called her into the kitchen and Misaki went "fresh rodent! Finally you stupid humans got some real food."

If you have a real butcher they can't get you guinea pig legs but they can get you lots of other good stuff that people won't buy.

Maybe talk to some local farmers about where they get their animals processed. We just had our chickens done and they were more than happy to let us have extra internal organs, necks, etc for our cats....for free.
