Your IP address is not being blocked by us. We RARELY block a user's IP address unless they're a user who has been banned and repeatedly creates new accounts on our site. We also block IP addresses of spam bots but those usually originate from IP addresses outside North America.

Ive fired off an email to the technical contact for networklayer.com asking if they can look at their routing tables.

Hi,

Have you tried resetting your modem? By doing that, it should issue you a new IP address which may be all it needs.

Unfortunately, we get 7 day DHCP leases that start to renew at 3.5 days - so I would need to be offline for 4 days.

That is just not going to happen!!!

I did read somewhere, that the lease is tied to MAC address, now, I cannot change that on my cable box, but I can put it into modem mode, and put another router the other side of it - so I will be trying that tomorrow when I have a new router delivered!

New router, with cable box in router mode - and I get a new IP, which routes properly!
